Gauge Cluster Help Please!!!
I am trying to install a gauge cluster that runs an electrical speedo and my 1986 blazer needs an actual odometer cable for the speedo to function any way to modify to bypass this situation. Isnt there some type of converter?

thats an interesting tutorial i like it but doesnt help in my situtation lol. Let me explain. I am changing clusters on my 1987 s10 blazer to a cluster that comes out of an 1988 chevrolet 1500 pickup with at 4.3ltr v6 and an electrical 700r4. I included a picture of the gauge cluster. Is there any other way getting around this issue

If your truck originally came with a mechanical speedometer drive and you are swapping in an electronic speedo, you can get a converter. I think that the early GM VSS output 16 pulses per revolution. This would be modified by the current gear in the transmission output (or transfer case output if 4wd). Unless you get a DRAC (digital ratio actuator control), you will have to make certain that your current gear in the transmission is proper for your axle ratio & tire size.

^^ yep. and that cluster you have is a "moon cluster". I had one in my 1500 truck before i scrapped it.
