Hard to start 90 s10 blazer

Can any one tell me what is causing my 1990 s10 blazer to be so dad gum hard to start. I don't understand it. It runs great but every time i start this thing it takes forever. Any help in this matter would be great. Thanks

It would help if we knew what engine you have in that thing... Whats your 8th digit in the VIN number?
