I have a 93 blazer 4.3 vortec. I can get it started by holding accelerator to floor but it smokes and runs very rough. trying to get it to move is almost impossible cause it stalls when putting in gear. It seems to be dumping a lot of gas into the oil and I removed the plenum expecting to see something leaking inside but nothing to be found there. It is not washed out on pass side, looks dirty as expected on both sides. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

 

fuel pressure regulator??? does your fuel pump keep running when you turn the key on?

my 93 did the same thing..hard start, but she always started though...sold it to the guy like that, but he didnt care..he told me it was the FPR...I had no clue...
