yah mine does it on all 3 of my blazers for the last two years just turn the radio up!!!!

Mine has started doing that, also. I figure it will be warm soon, and since my air doesn't work, I won't have to hear it again till fall!

I have a '85 K5 with the same problem. I took the vent hose off of the heater motor and sprayed WD40 into the motor. It's been quiet for two months.
