my 94 4.3 has an issue, where when i put t in gear it dies or will idle weird and then die,,its automatic, but when in park it idles and runs fine..we have redone trhe plugs wires, distributor and cap, feul filter, been redoing some vacuum lines but it still does the same thing,,any suggestions please...and where can i find the idle adjustment?

 

It definitely sounds like a leak of some sort. A malfunctioning EGR valve can cause symptoms like this as well. I would continue to go through the vacuum lines and see if you find a leak. You can also use an unlit propane torch to help find vacuum leaks by tracing out the lines with the engine running. If the engine changes pitch, you have found a leak.
