help grounded hot wire

Default help grounded hot wire

Any help is appreciated on this matter. I have a 1989 GMC jimmy with a 4.3 and i finally got i t running right. While test driving it the truck dies. i find that my hot wire going to my battery has melted to the exhaust manifold and ground itself out. now the truck will turn over but it get no spark or gas can any one tell me what i fried. i have check my fuses none are blown and the wire to my coil is hot. any clues

yeah i got it where is the pcm located on my blazer. After i taped up the hot wire it ran for a little while. i put it in drive and it cut off and hasnt ran since
