I believe there are two 10 amp fuses that are near the fuse box but separate from the box, one of them should be the TCCM fuse.

I don't have an electronic shift 4x4, but I do have a Bravada service manual as well as an interior wiring harness from an electric shift 4x4 Blazer that I will look at later.

Get underneath, and unhook the linkage on your Tcase and switch it manually with your hand. Not a fix, but it will get you going again.

Here's the non-troubleshooting fix: remove the front driveshaft from the output yoke of the transfer case. Remove the transfer case shift motor (encoder motor) from the side of the transfer case. Manually shift the transfer case back into 2HI. You may have a bad encoder motor. That was the problem with my wife's '93 Jimmy.

If you search through the forums here you will probably be able to find a good set of guidelines for troubleshooting the encoder motor. Hopefully you'll be able to get the rig back on the road soon.

You can try resetting the encoder motor that is located on the transfer case. Get under the truck and look for a plug on the drivers side of the transfer case, it is up behind a vacuum switch that has 3 lines running to it. Pop the top off the plug and unscrew the bolt/screw on the plug and pull it and then turn the truck on and off and get it to reset. Sometimes even pulling the ground off the battery will reset it as well but like stated it is probably going to keep failing like everything else on this truck does and it will probably need to be replaced. You could also have a vacuum leak somewhere as well, rent a vacuum tester from autozone and see what you find when checking the lines running from the back of the intake plenum. If the line running to the transfer case is not holding vacuum reset the encoder motor, or just reset the encoder motor and then look for vacuum leaks.

If you have an electrical shift you can pull the TCCM codes by linking the A and J terminal of your ECM connector and then turning on the contact.

Then the indicator lights will flash in a certain patter, i believe its:
long
1, 2, 3, or 4 times depending on the code.
pause
repeat

With code 3 i managed to fix it by resetting the TCCM module, pull the 10 Amp fuse for 5 minutes, put it back in and then (if i also remember correct) turn the contact on/off 5 times.

Good luck.
