No need for the language.

Lets see here. 10mm socket and a 6" extension should get you right there. If you're still looking for it, its located under the throttle body.

If you are getting this frustrated removing the EGR valve, go do something else for a bit.

I'm just extremely over frustrated. I think I may blow my truck up. Haynes manual made it look simple...too much in the way. can't stand it anymore, I'm done working on it. way too much stuff to go wrong.

Its quite easy to get out. Take a break from it and go back tomorrow. To make it easier to get out, take the ac bracket that is bolted to therear of the ACcompressor off. Its attached to the intake corner and back of the ACcompressor.(Its anL shaped bracket)Once that is off you can swing the egr valve out in that direction. It will never come out the front unless you do alot of disassembling. You can use a 10mm wrench to get at the left bolt and the right will have to come out with a socket.

I have a 92 Blazer.

good Luck

I'm on my third s10. First was a wonderful 96. It had to have a rear main seal around every 50k miles. The way I treated it, NO complaints, 2nd one was a 92, ahhh "little blackie". a slacker totaled it.Now I have a 93, love it, even with a few problems. Hope I am always able to keep a first generation s10.
take it easy, take your time...these egr's come out..
