egr valve or somthing
can a clogged egr valve cause my motor to stall out when you give it gas and also have no power?? Or does this sound like a vacuum leak or catalytic converter? Any advice sure would help before I go broke run back and forth to the shop

What year of Blazer are you talking about, what size engine. If you have the Vortec V-6, you can disconnect the wire harness from the EGR valve and and take it for a spin. You CE light will be on, and the EGR valve will remain closed, or as closed as it can if it is clogged. Do your brakes feel hard as a rock?
