Default how to remove 2wd/4wd switch in dash on 93 s10 blazer

I tried to pop out the HI/LO 4wd switch on the left of the dash on my '93 S10 Blazer. The top of the switch came off which is just the rocker switch itself.

The rest of the switch fell inside the console. I didn't want to break anything. Does that panel on the left where the 4wd switch, rear wiper switch and head light switches pop out? Are there clips or a hidden screw somewhere?

edit:: I figured it out.... couple of screws under the rear defrost module then I saw the dash screws.

there really isn't anything hidden on the 1st gen trucks. the screws (for both sides of the cluster pod) are located on the bottom edge of the pod (2 screws on each).
if your switch came apart, ya might have buggered it ya know. make sure the little spring goes back in right ot it'll jam up.
these trucks are fairly easy to take apart, so no (major) pullin' or jankin' is required (at least regarding the cluster pod and dash).

Only the face of the switch came off. The spring and everything inside the switch was not disturbed.

I got the panel off and put the rocker switch back on.

Still no lights though. I was hoping maybe it had just came off or had some corrosion or something not causing a connection but everything is clean. Still no lights when pressing 4hi or 4lo.

So it's probably not the switch. It's been raining all day here, will get under the hood tom. hopefully if it stops raining and rule out some items I've been picking up here to check.
