hi i dont know alot about chevy this is the first one i have owned i have a 1994 s10 blazer wit a 4.3 vortec in it i went to check the oil and the dipstick tube broke off is there an easy way to fix it cause i cant find one were i live at

Your best bet is likely going to be a junkyard... In a quick search of a few different autoparts websites, I did not turn up a replacement. Some universal ones, but no direct fit.

i have called all the junk yards around eau claire wi doesnt have one ive been looking up junk yards all over and they all have being saying that they dont have any

What area are yoy in? We have a pull it yourself yard by the Detroit area. I've picked up a lot of things there real cheap. Sorry just saw Wi. Maybe I could get it and ship it to you if interested. Any of these places in your area?

A 195*F t-stat will run around 200-205*F on the gauge.

If you can't find one at a salvage yard you might try something like ebay or LMC.

im waiting for my lmc catalog to come in i look on there web site but i didn't see on there

No junkyards around you? You could take that dipstick and tube out of an astrovan or fullsize truck that also has the 4.3 engine.

It sometimes better to actually go to the Junkyard. Calling isnt always that reliable. They get in and get rid of cars so often its hard to keep track of all of them. So they may say they dont have any, but probably do. just my 2 cents.
