ignition issue
I have a 91 s-10 blazer. My ignition is stuck in the on position. It did it a couple of times and i just wiggled the ears and it released, but now I'm not so lucky. My question is this...when I go to autozone am I looking for this:
http://www.autozone.com/autozone/cat...057&questions=[]
or this:
http://www.autozone.com/autozone/cat...070&questions=[]
My instinct tells me the first one, but the repair info (on autozone.com. I am aware it's not a trusty source) gives instructions for a door lock.
Any help would be very much apreciated
Thanks,
Brother Dave

Try lifting up on your gear shift lever to see if that frees the ignition. Or try working the gear shift in and out of park. It is possible that the tab inside the column that prohibits the key from being removed when the gear shift is out of park has stuck or otherwise failed.
