Also, is it possible to pull the plug on the spider with a needlenose so I don't have to pull the plenum to check it with a volt meter?

So I found the problem today, I gave up looking for a fuel pressure guage and took my plenum off, I didnt wan't to have to find a torque wrench to torque it back down but what the hell, I will find one. My spider is leaking on the regulator side but I don't think it's my regulator that is leaking, I replaced it 2 years ago. I think it might be leaking where the lines connect to the spider so now I have to decide if I will just drop $200 for a rebuilt one or maybe someone on here has one I could get some parts off of. Atleast I now know what is wrong. Honestly the spider injector seems to be more trouble then it's worth, I would almost rather have a TB injector.
I really think I'm just gonna get this http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...2521&ppt=C0024 and a new connector so I don't have to deal with it in another 2 years!
Here is a question, can the gasket around the spider that seperates eash side of the plenum cause fuel to leak?

Fuel Spider is not really that much trouble, my 1st one lasted about 14 years, just think how old my 92 Blazer will be if the 2nd one last 14 years.

Take out and drain the fuel tank, preferably into a white plastic bucket so you can see how much crap's in your gas. Pulled about a cup of dirt out of my '89 that was having this same problem, now it runs like a champ again (as usual)
