Leaking water at ?

Default Leaking water at ?

My oil filter has two cooling lines coming from the radiator ,they are OK.
The two oil lines from the oil filter goes to a unit located under and back of the engine that is leaking water.
Looks round and might be leaking at the flange. Not oil just water
Isn this for oil cooling also? What is it?
Is there a kit with seals for it ?
Do have a picture of the brake down of it.There is no listing in theHayne's book I have for oil cooling.
Any info will surely help.

Coolant or water? If it's coolant, then I bet you have an intake manifold gasket leak at the back of the intake manifold on the driver's side. This can travel down the back side of the block and look like it's coming from the oil filter adapter.

There is no coolant in those lines, only oil.

If you are leaking coolant near the oil filter adapter at the block, it's probably either the block heater (if equipped) or an expansion plug ( also called a freeze plug or frost plug)
If you can see it leaking (it's about 1 1/2" in diameter) or if you see a coolant stain below it on the block, it needs replacing.

Hey Guys Thanks for the help.
After checking more closely I found that it was the frost plug that is leaking.
