My blazer starts half the time. I put the key in no dash lights can't put into gear. But then some days i go to turn it on everything is fine. What could it be?

 

Are you saying that just the dash lights arent working? Or that sometimes it wont start?

My dash lights sometimes dont work, Id say about 10% of the time I will have to shut off and restart the engine to get my dash back. I have the digital gauges. My speed only ever worked on my way home the day I bought the truck, never since. Aparently these digital dashes go on the fritz eventually, there is links on here to a guy that sells refurbished ones on ebay for a hundred bucks I think... One day Ill get one but I have a GPS with my speed on it so Im good.
