Default NEED HELP WITH SONS BLAZER

HI my name is Myra and my son is having problems with his blazer.It is a 94 s-10 blazer(tahoe). it will run butwhen he cranks it it smells like gas and is sluggish and skips when he drives it and it wants to go dead when he puts on brakes. it has been parked now for over a weekwe have replaced plugs, wires, distributor, rotor, fuel filter and still no change.we need help please on what to do now
