I think I'd like to buy all-in-one but $240's a bit much.

I've read a few here like Delphi as I guess they manufacture for AC Delco ( right? )

But what about the fuel sender unit, is there one that someone has seen or used is better than another ?

$240 is a bit much. You could save by getting from the manufacturer also. I got my sending unit from SPECTRA PREMIUM they have a warehouse here in my city, but I am unable to over the counter there and they sent me to a dealer that sells their stuff. $50 or not quite for a sending unit. I think the pump was from NAPA for around a hundred bucks, its a Delphi. Ive noticed my Delphi is alot quieter than other vehicles. They had cheaper ones, but the guys on here all say Delphi so I took their advice.
