Default New here and could use some advice

I got a 93 blazer on Saturday with 73,100 original miles on it. Slight rust, but nothing that bad. CD player is busted...oh wells. LOL. Anyways, i know it needs front brakes badly...a lot of grinding. the front end kind of felt like it bottomed into the tires almost when i came off a hill entrance...so i am assuming front shocks. Also needs the heater core installed which I have and will haev someone do.

The steering is VERY loose. I can turn the wheel a few degrees each way without moving....and it started shaking at 70, which I attributed to age most likely. Any thoughts? I have it sitting at STS for the free lookover and they will call hopefully today with what they think needs to be done...

Might look at the pitman arm and draglink for the loose steering. Might even be the tires. You can always tell if the shocks are bad just pushing down hard on the finders and she if she bounces back too many times, should should come up and level off if it's all factory ( not changed to make it higher/lower) could be bushing or A frame problem too.

Good luck on the heater core...no fun at all installing it.
