Question no fuel pump, headlights, or radio?

I have a 1986 s10 blazer 4x4 and all the sudden I lost power to fuel pump, head lights and radio, but the starter still works! Any ideas what it could be? Thanks

Get a wiring diagram. See if the things that lost power are all on the same circuit. If so, I'd check the fuses on those circuits. If the fuses are good then check for proper grounds and voltage on each circuit.

i think ignition switch problems usually happen in the 2nd gens. but everything you described makes it sound like the ignition switch so its possible im sure.

Thumbs up

Thanks for all the advice , it turned out to be a burnt wire coming off starter! It was hidden and very hard to see, but it look like the exhaust burnt it and grounded out! Again thank you all! Rmitch
