My s-10 has 225,000 miles on it but has been maintained well over the years. Iv'e had the truck for about 10 months and have followed the manual for the type of oil to use. For a truck with this many milesare there any recomendations for oil on my next change. Thanks.

 

Well, the obvious answer is to stick with the oil that has gotten the engine through a quarter million miles! Lacking that information, I would recommend any name-brand conventional (dino) oil, or one of the 'high mileage' formulations.
