No. I guess I have to get more generic... It is at the back of the engine, between the distributor and the back of the driver side valve cover....

Default RE: oil pressure problem

Just found this website trying to figure out the same problem. About a month ago, son called me said engine was smoking and no oil on dipstick. I checked, no leaks, drained 5 quarts out. Put 5 new quarts in and it showed on the dipstick. Same thing happened this weekend-no oil pressure and I drained out 5 quarts. Now I have a rod knocking. Mechanic says spider injector is leaking gas into crankcase which is thinning the oil too much. He can't explain the no oil on the dipstick issue. Help!!!!

Test your fuel pressure first before condemning the CPI unit or FPR. Specifically, pressurize the system, then turn the key off and monitor the pressure. If it drops quickly, the FPR is blown.

A rod knock is not going to get any better.
