Default ok need ideas/help

ok im am trading my dakota for a 1992 chevy s10 blazer tahoe.4 door 4x4,4.3. it does not leak, drip or burn anything. has 212 thousand miles. it needs a possible heator core, air conditioning charge, possible window motors and exhuast from the cat back. paint is faded but no rust and im in the midwest. the window motors go down about an inch an hour. how do you tell if the heator core is bad, the guy imtrading it for said last winter it was acting up so he turned it off. i am just wandering if this is a good buy/trade. thanks ahead of time.

Default dakota

the dakota has a 5.2 liter v8. been modified from 230 hp to 400 hp. needs some wiring body work, bulbs ignition tires vacume line and a has a gas leek. maybe some other things. i love blazers and hate the dakota. i was just wandering since the blazer needs a few things is it worh it and i need advice on the heator core and at least the driver side window motor. maybe ahow to or something.

sounds to me that the Blazer is in better shape and easier/cheaper to fix. I'm sorry I cant help you in either dept of the heater core or window motors. Do a thread search for both of those things and I'm sure you will find a thread or 2 on them. "Search" is your best friend on here. I had to be dicussed at least once so far

you can grab a dynomax cat back system from summit racing for $117, 1st gen heater core is not bad pull the glove box and one panel under the dash and have at it about a 30 minute job, window motors again easy hardest part is removing the door panel.
Check out our DIY section there are how to's on most of this stuff (small tip check ebay for window motors I got all 4 of mine for less than the cost of 1 from autozone and still got a lifetime warranty been 3 years with no issues thus far)
