Power Locks randomly stopped working
played with it more. things have completely changed. is there a way to delete this thread so it doesnt waste anyones time?
I just got a 92 s10 blazer 4x4 for my first car. it had a few oil leaks and the battery doesnt like to stay charged. I pulled the engine and put all new gaskets and seals a such in. Got it in and idleing right. i backed it out and everything was swell for about a week. then i was replacing the bushings in the driver side door and had to tear the door apart to unplug everything to detach the door. after i got everything put back together i closed the door (very smooth with new bushings) but since my door had been open my batter had run down. not realizing it i went to lock the doors with the driver side switch. the locks tried to lock but didnt have the power. i put the charger on it and left it in the garage. the next day i tried again just for kicks and nothing happened. i went to check fuses and was pushing each one in to make sure that they were all good and tight. i found the power lock fuse that was metal box(odd?) as i pushed it in i got burned and electrocuted. so i got pliers and pulled it out. after cooling i plugged it back in and the locks immediately tried to lock without me pressing the button. but they sort of just twitched. it didn't ever successfully lock or unlock. i pulled it back out. any ideas whats going on with the locks? also sorry for the long post. i just wanted to give all info i could. if any specific questions please ask. ive searched this forum but i cant find anything that really helps. maybe i just over looked it, would appreciate any advice. like i said this is my first car so its still a learning thing for me.
just found this one on the relay location. ill check it. https://blazerforum.com/forum/showth...wer+lock+relay
