Default proportioning brake valve missing

Hi all
refurbishing my chevy , after installing new brakes lines from MC ( Master Cilynder) to chassis conection I realised or I think that someone , old owner , remove this part and threw it away , streched the lines to reach MC and he installed one low pressure release valve on rear lines.
I checked information on GM and the PN is 14041636. the problem now is how to find it in Spain, not many cars like this one in scrap yard

the new installation, but may be need modification inserting the proportioning valve.
scrapyard ..Maybe importing from USA (RockAuto, Amazon, Ebay) or from China ( Aliexpress) .

I review information about it and it is like a Pre-ABS

is a good idea to reinstall it ?

any suggestion ?

thanks

The easiest way would be to install an adjustable valve in the line to the rear brakes. You can also buy a whole combination valve and run all the lines through it.

If you get the combination valve, make sure you get the one that matches your rear brake setup (disc or drum).

Default proportioning valve

I checked the PN on GM web site and it apply on my car,it is a type PV2 Disc/Drum .there is other type, PV4 for Disc/Disc.
I think it is a benefits for the car to use the proportioning valve.
All the old cars has this valve in USA ?
in Spain I have never seen on it, neither the release valve.

Default Adjustible valve

Tom , I am afraid about the adjust of a new adjustible valve , may be that kind of valve is more realivable and efficient but the adjustment may be complicated. Is it not ?

It should be fairly simple, but I have never actually done it, so I can't say for sure.
