Sea Foam
I thought about using Sea foam on my car before I did a oil change. Would anyone else recommend using this? Anything I should know before doing this and is one bottle enough to do the job?

I have put a can or 2 through the fuel tank. The blazer I bought had been sitting for almost a year, and the previous owner was not very maintenance oriented. I have yet to utilize in the oil or other areas. I went to look up a video I recently saw on this sight about using it, turns your the guy that put the video up. It has all you really need to know about doing it. So in short I recommend doing it.

I have used it thru the Gas, in the Oil and even thru the Intake. If your going to use it in the Intake, just make sure your in a large open area. It smokes like someone set of a 5 min smoke grenade under your car.

Ya i liked it too. Pour half in the almost empty tank, and suck half through the brake booster line. I pour about a litre of solvent or diesel into the crankcase to flush my oil and let it run while I do the seafoaming, then pour it all out and replace.

Thanks for the info, i bought a can today and tried it and noticed an immediate change in throttle response hopefully it will also help a bit with gas mileage.

Do a search on here for Seafoam, you'll see a lot about it & people's thoughts.
I did the brake booster line & another third in the gas tank & waited untill it was up for an oil change & dumped the final 3rd in the crankcase. Drove it for about 100 miles & tomorrow it'll get the oil dumped. To me it's just part of preventative maintenence, do the things to keep it clean but don't get sold on commercials (they all make their product better than the rest lol)

I though it was worth it. I put a whole can in my gas tank every couple of fill ups. The local O'riellys had Seafoam on sale 3 cans for $9.99. Couldn't beat that deal at all.
