Default RE: Slow Start

Put a fuel pressure gauge on it, then start it, and shut it off. Watch the gauge and see how much pressure you lose, and how fast, you will need to watch the gauge for up to 10-15 min. If the gauge drops to zero, or close to it, you probably have a fuel leak from either the nit kit, or the fuel pressure regulator. If the gauge does not drop more than 10-20 psi it is okay, and the problem is elsewhere. What happens is you loose fuel pressure then it takes a while to rebuild the fuel pressure when you go to start the engine.Korey
