Default Soldering Rear Defrost

I replaced my gas shocks on my rear window and of course when taking off the connections for the Defrost they broke off from the window.

Can I just cut 2 new wires and solder them onto the rear window and crimp on 2 new connectors and bam I'm back in business? If not what do I have to do?

you can but you will have to be VERY careful. Put a wet towel on the other side of the glass. It is possible to shatter the glass if it gets too hot. Napa sells a kit to fix it. It has some conductive glue in it
