Default Starts without key in ignition

I have a 94 blazer and I recently replaced the starter. Now when I hook up the battery and have someone jump me the car turns over before turning the key in the ignition. Could the connecting wires on the starter be mixed/touching? Is the starter bad?

Any ideas would be helpful!

If you have a remote start it will sometimes start when hooking up the battery. I don't know if you do, but that was the case with mine...
