Hello to everyone. I'm a nubie here and have a DX issue with our '94 S10 "W" vin series blazer (4.3L). I Had to replace the gas pump assembly a year ago, and wanted to rule out a 2nd pump failure. I tried starter fluid with not even a hiccup. I can hear the gas pump turn on for a second or so when I turn the ignition on. The two ecm fuses in the car checked okay. I hear a click in the firewall-mounted relay closest to midline when I turn on the key. Not sure where to go next, but seems like there are other electrical issues that could cause a sudden engine failure like this. Thanks for any help.

 

have you checked for spark yet?

After I was satisfied the problem was electrical, I called a mobile mechanic, who followed the problem back to the ignition module. One R&R later---Vroooom! Thanks for the feeedback y'all.
