Have a 1986 GMC Jimmy I would like to swap a 4.3L with F.I. Other than the 4.3 and a different trans with a wiring harness for the F.I., what will I need. The jimmy has 4.11 gears and a posi unit. Looking at lowering it 3"/4" and going with IROC wheels. Any opinions, suggestions, etc. welcome.

well you will need ecm, exhaust down tube, motor mounts, radiator, and lots of patience with wiring. my question is y the 4.3 swap and not v8? mine is got 4.3 vortec in it and ill be swapping that out for a small block come winter(live in wisconsin so plenty of garage time).
