T-stat?
I have an 87 s10 blazer with a 2.8 and my temp gauge usually sits here (see attached) Do I need a new t-stat? Also my 4wd use to work fine then it started getting tricky on me when I got stuck one time now I dont think it comes on at all (due to the absence of the 4wd light coming on) Is the vacuum actuator easy to get to, and does it look like a normal one? Thanks in advance fellas.

You have two vacuumdevices to look at. One is on the transfer case itself. It tells/pulls suction on an acuator underneath your battery which in turn locked in your front differential.
At least this is the way my 91 Blazer works.
Of course the running a low temperature could affect your vacuum I suspect.
