Default Takes forever to start and rough idle

Have a 94 Blazer 4wd 4.3 Vortech
Takes forever to start, but if you pump the throttle while cranking starts a little quicker. Once it starts it runs great!!!!
Just replaced the fuel pump and egr valve! Has a recent tune up too.
And suggestions???

Smell the oil dipstick and see if it smells like gasoline.

The dip stick smells like motor oil. No smell of gas.
And I forgot to mention it has a new fuel filter too.

Check your Fuel Pressure, And also before you try to start it up turn the key on but dont start it and let the fuel pump build up pressure like wait 5 to 10 seconds and see what it does and let us know it that helps

I havent gotten a chance to run a fuel pressure test. But dont think that would be an issue with a new fuel pump and filter.
I just replace the idle air control valve with another tune up. Did nothing!
Im going to go buy the iat soon! Could it just be low compression? Or something else?

I also found a vacum line straight from the intake, then put that hose in some injector cleaner. Let the motor run a little bit and suck all the injector cleaner up and still did nothing. Was told that would help burn up alot of carbon in the motor. And I replaced the EGR maybe 3K miles(at max) ago

fuel pressure test will help determine if your Fuel pressure regulator is going bad. if the regulator isnt doing its job, then you would have problems. Pressure should be 58-60psi at key ON, not Started.

Ok, I will do that. Where can I get a fuel pressure tester though?

any of the parts store should have one for you to buy if not rent. I found mine at Harbour Freight tools for about 15 bucks.

It screws on to the valve at the back of the engine right behind the Plenum on the driver side.
