You need a trans from a 4x4 truck with a 4.3, 305, 350, 327, 383, or a 400. Nothing else. There is a huge difference from a 2wd 700r4 and a 4x4 one. Its not worth converting it.

You forgot 262, 283, 302, and 307 in that 90 degree list lol.

For a 4x4 700r4 most likely its gonna be behind a 4.3, 5.0, or 5.7. I've seen oddball swaps but that's pretty much the factory list if junkyard hunting. Again since the v8 trans were built with more clutch packs I would look for one of those unless v6 ones are all you can find.

Ah the chevy 302, i got my hands on one of those once. Idk how but i found it blown up in a 78 suburban. Shocked the hell out of me. Once again, make sure its a 700r4 and not the similar 4l60e. They phased those in about 94

Yeah I built one when I was 16 for a luv. Screamer but wasn't worth a crap in the 1/8th.

Where the hell did you find that 4x4 Camaro? It's obviously a Washington car from the plate. Must be some idiot in South Pierce County out by Eatonville who got drunk one night and thought, "Hot damn! I'm buildin' a 4x4 Camaro!"

I've seen 1st gen f-bodys, el caminos, and even a 90s model caddy on a toyota frame. In the mud pits once the body rusts off they will throw anything cheap on top of the frame.
