how do you clean trottle body and EGR 1994 blazer s-10 W

 

Take em off and clean them with carb cleaner and an old toothbrush. With the EGR, you wanna soak it in some combustion chamber cleaner if its all clogged up with crap. Then you get the HELP! brand screened gasket at the parts store for reinstalling. If the EGR is all clogged with junk, then you may have to clean the ports on the intake too... Which is not so easy to remove.

 

I cleaned my EGR port with the upper plenum in place. If it's totally clogged you need something like Berrtmans B-12, a small flat blade screwdriver and assorted bruches that'll bend. That plus a lot of patience.
