Ok, When I start up the blazer it will hold an idle off of start up but when I put the pedal to the floor its like im not putting it down at all, and sometimes backfires. After a while of idling it will not have that problem. Can anyone help? I know my explanation sucks but if you guys cant help im going to make a video of it tomorrow.

Thanks!

Have you given it a tune-up yet?
Cap/rotor, plugs and wires?

doesnt matter how much gas it gets if it cant fire properly.

One last question.
Why was it parked for 2+ years?

Made a video of the problem, I still think its the injectors but you tell me.

ALSO: Was parked because it was my moms car and she got a new car in 07 so we had no use for the Blazer and now that I have my license I want it

Haven't done any of that. I was planning on doing Plugs and Wires after I do the O2, I guess a cap wont hurt either.

Default Help With Getting My Blazer Running Good

Had another thread open but didn't resolve anything.

I have a 88" S10 Blazer 4x4, 2.8L with 199KM's.

It sputters and backfires and doesnt want to start easily untill its warmed up. I feel its getting worse and want to have it running good before the winter hits (Here in Vancouver were suppose to get the worst winter since 1955). I'm in the middle of changing the O2 sensor but the thing is rusted on there really good...gotta bust out the PB Blaster and a torch.

Heres a video of what it does.

Thanks!!!!

Have you done that tune up yet? General maintenance...??
