Default Unidentified ticking noise

1st off read my signature for more info on my Blazer ..... I just replaced my spark plugs today and had to replace 2 of the wires because they were corroded, anyways after all that I started it up and it runs fine and doesn't jerk, pop, or sputter anymore ... but now it makes a ticking noise which sounds like air maybe coming out of the exhaust manifold at least that is what a mechanic friend of mine told me ... so I need some advice on what you all might think it is. My plan as of right now is to start it up tomorrow after I get off of work and to feel around for any air that matches with the sound any other ideas please let me know ... much appreciated as always BF !!!

Maybe an exhaust leak at the donut gasket, the Y pipe that bolts upto the rest of the exhaust. Mine has leaked there and will give a false pinging or knocking sound.

Did this do it before the plug change? Or is it just noticeable now that the engines running smooth.

Ok all is well now I feel really stupid though .... I didn't get one of the plugs in all the way and it ended up popping out and of course I didn't bother to look under the hood so I finally checked today and had to put the plug back in but the right way this time lol it runs like a dream now and from when I did the seafoam treatment it freed up so much power that was lost due to carbon buildup seafoam is amazing I went from this to this just switch the bike for my blazer lol thanks for all your help and patience now I just have to fix the damn leaky window
