There is oil leaking from under the engine of my 1988 s-10 blazer. It's coming from where the two oil lines from the filter enter the engine. What's it called? Is there a gasket that usally leaks there? I have a picture attached...

This is the oil line itself, which is common to leak at the crimps:

Though, yours does look like the fitting to the block is leaking. I would give the dealership a call about a gasket or o-ring.

I put the Dorman parts on mine and they leaked. There is a couple of gaskets and a bunch of "O" rings that are just about the same size but slightly different. I bought the right ones from the dealer and they fit great and no leaks. A couple of bucks more but you get the correct gasket and "O" ring for the job. The oil line seals should be changed at the same time and they're not cheap. This isn't a real easy job to do. That center bolt on the line fitting is best tacklrd with about a 18" extensionfrom the front of the engine. If you can get away with jusr the gasket and "O" ring you're much better off. By the way this is an oil filter adapter for the remote filter. Good luck. A lot of guys modify the lines to steel braided hoses when they have theirs out. Wish I would have. But my lines were leaking as well as the gasket/"O" ring.

Felpro makes a kit that can be found at Napa. This is the kit I used when mine started leaking and haven't seen a drop of oil in my driveway since. I replaced my oil lines with a set made by dorman and they are holding up great after 2 1/2 years of service.
