Default where to get hose for fuel filler neck to tank?

I have checked at Oreilly, Autozone, and Advanced, and neither have a listing for the hose that connects the fuel filler neck to the gas tank on a 93 S10 Blazer 4WD.

I can't believe that something like this would be a dealer item. It's just a relatively short (didn't measure the length) 3" ID hose. The largest hose Advanced had was 2" ID. I didn't check the others yet a generic hose that would fit.

I don't even see a filler neck or hose at Rockauto.

Any suggestions besides salvage yard? I've never replaced a fuel pump before and this has been an almost all day job. I definitely don't want to take another tank out just for this a ridiculous hose.

Thanks.

Napa was the only place I found that carried the hose, but are you sure it is 3"???

I know you stated you have a '93 and I have a '00. Mine is 2" ID and I can't see a reason why GM would reduce the size by one inch.

rastoma,
After a bit of searching I found the filler hose listed on the RockAuto site under "Tools & Universal Parts"- fuel - filler hose.

They did not specify what size is required. Just lists 5-6 sizes from 1.5" up to 2.5" depending on make, yr, etc...... No listing for 3".

As I recall, like AJBert, my '89 used a 2" too.

hmm, odd that LMCtruck doesn't even sell them. They show the part, but don't number it or label it.

Plumbing hoses are not certified for petroleum products, that is the catch right there.

Thanks everyone. Yes I made a mistake on the size, it is 2" ID.

I had seen that LMCTruck didn't have them either after posting this, I did find that odd.

I have a Napa about 40 minutes away I'll call them. And if they don't have them, thanks to the person that pointed out about the universal parts on RockAuto.
