Question Body lift arrived - no fuel filler neck extension?

I took delivery of the body lift for my '97 4 door 4WD. The Performance Accessories kit doesn't include an extension for the fuel filler neck? Is it needed for the '97?

Anbody have tips, tricks and how to's for the install? I'm very mechanically inclined and I have an air ratchet and impact. I also downloaded the BDS instructions from their website to use. I'd just like to know about the 'gotchas' and time savers before I start

...but a 2" body lift doesn't do me much good if I can't put gas in the tank

I have the fuel filler neck if you need it. I didn't need it for my truck. Only tip I can give you is follow the PA instructions step by step.

No you don't need it I have a 96 and never used it. You will find the body lift very easy to do after it's all done. Just double and triple check everything, have a friend look and see if he can notice any wires or lines you missed, not something you want to overlook while jacking your body off your frame 2-3" to get the pucks in between.

Thanks guys!

Did the filler neck need to be disconnected from the body at all?

I removed the screws that held mine just incase it pulled the hold when I lifted the truck up.

Wow that sucked

It was a pain in the *** but it's done. The rust really complicates things...and it didn't help that it was 103 in the garage.
