Will a Class III hitch fit from a 2nd gen on a 1st gen??

Hello all, i currently have a Class II hitch on my 94 S10, but was wondering if a Class III from a 95' blazer would fit?? Thanks

Even in the 2nd Gens, there was variance between what fit which years, so I don't know about 2nd Gen to 1st Gen.

yea, im looking at some now and they all look different, 83-94 looks like it has bends and stuff

ummm....no......the '94 & older ones are a straight bar, no bends, that would be the 2nd gen's.

no they wont fit (properly), different bumpers. just like a 1st gen Dime p/u hitch won't fit the same Blazer, the bumper's are different. the Blazer/Jimmy's rear bumper curves under, unlike the p/k with the step style bumper.
you could try the '95 hitch on your '94, but it may stick out too far/low. a neighbour down the street put the hitch from his old Caravan, onto his newer one (one gen to the next) and his hitch sits so low, it must catch on speed bumps. maybe i'll discreetly snap a pic for you to see (just for laughs).
