Exclamation Wipers or Electrical ????????????

Ok so i gotta 91 blazer 4.3 LT 4x4 the wipers in fornt were working three weeks ago but now nothing. I have 5 circuit boards tried them all nothing. I pulled the motor off grounded it and wired it to the battery it works great all speeds hi low and interm. Put the motor back on hooked everything back up nothing but if I use a ground wire to the body then to the motor it works fine until you turn the wipers off they stop and when you turn the headlights on the wipers start working by themselves WTF!!! If I unhook the ground then the wipers don't work anymore. I have read all the forums that discuss this issue but no resolution if anybody has another trick up there sleeve PLEASE let me know!!!!!!

Sounds like there is a short in the multifunction switch or possibly in the wiring under the dash. There isn't a lot of wiring involved with the wiper system, but you should be able to test some things using the wiring diagram.

Swartlkk can you find me or direct me where I find a wiring diagram for the combination switch for a 97 blazer 4 door 4x4.
