Default 1995 blazer 4wd antifreeze

i have a 1995 blazer 4wd was driving and heater hose started to leak alot so i replaced it with a new hose and antifreeze didn't notice i used dex-cool antifreeze and now the temp goes from 1/2 to 3/4 on the temp back and forth should i drain it and use the regular? Or what could it be? not enough antifreeze?

Possibly malfunctioning thermostat.
but...these truck have heater cores that like to clog up...how is your heat? Hot?
whenever the heater hose is off...always a good idea on these trucks to put a little bit of garden hose water through the heater core to try and keep it flowing good.
Keep in mind that too much pressure eg: from a pressure washer will likely crack the heater core.

Hope this helps

Edit:Easy things first
Make sure there is no air bubbles in the system first

Lower hose should be cooler than the others. When the engine is started cold, the thermostat is closed. The coolant circulates through the engine and heater core and bypasses the thermostat through the small hose next to the stat. When the coolant reaches ~195F the stat starts to open. Coolant exits the engine from the thermostat and enters the top of the radiator. Coolant temperature drops as gets to the bottom of the radiator, and is sent back to the engine through the lower hose.
