97 chevy blazer hesitation on acceleration
#11
ok i changed the plug and not getting the misfire anymore but its still idling really rough. i unplugged the maf sensor to see if it made any difference and plugged it back in and nothing changed so i thought the maf sensor might be bad. i replaced it and also put some fuel injector cleaner in the tank to see if maybe it was a dirty injector and to no avail. i went on a ride and my check engine light came on blinking and smelled something burning again so i checked the code and im getting p0102(MAF or VAF A low Circuit Input) no idea what to do now. i talked to my mechanic again and he wanted to see the old plug and see if the intake manifold is leaking. maybe a fuse is blown that the maf sensor is on?

The MAF sensor affects all cylinders equally. When you unplugged the MAF, the P0102 was set in memory. Extremely doubtful that the MAF is causing the problem. As mentioned, very important to use AC Delco 41-993 plugs, and AC Delco distributor cap & rotor.
P0442 will not cause misfires. Very doubtful you'd notice any driveability issues at all.
A flashing service engine light, accompanied by P0303, means #3 is misfiring and it will cause catalytic converter damage if not repaired.
Start with making sure the plugs, cap & rotor are AC Delco, then post the results.
