Default 97 GMC Jimmy No Start

I've got a 97 Jimmy that I am having problems with. It is getting fuel and has good compression, but it will not start. I have replaced the timing set, crank sensor, coil, icm, distributor cap, and rotor. It's getting spark from the coil, but when I pulled off a plug wire and checked for spark there wasn't one. Is there anything else that could be causing it to not be getting spark at the plugs?

The trouble started one day when I parked it and went to start it back up. I determined that the timing chain had either slipped or broke. It was running fine before this no missing or back-firing. So myself and my friend tore it down and replaced the timing chain and gears which were loose. We got it all back together and it ran fine for around 1000 miles and the same thing happened. I took it to a mechanic and had him change the timing set again and the oil pump. It ran fine again for around 500 miles, then the same thing. I had it tore down once more and everything was ok as far as timing, but now from every test I've done I've determined it just isn't getting spark to the plugs.

Any help would be appreciated. It's been sitting for awhile and I need to get it running without paying a big tow bill and repair bill from a mechanic.

Did you try it at more than 1 plug? Try a another wire from the coil to the distributor, maybe that one is bad. Make sure the coil is grounded good. Make sure the motor is grounded good. See if you can move the distributor shaft from side to side. Make sure the distributor shaft is turning when you crank the motor...I know you've probably already checked all that but sometimes we overlook the simplest little thing unless someone mentions it.
