98 s-10 blazer security light stays on
I have no daytime running light nor dome/map lights..security light stays on constantly and the blazer will start and run for like 2 seconds then dies. I have 60# of pressure at the schradder valve, I have replaced the fuel pressure regulator, and it still does the same thing. start then die. I have disconnected the battery and reconnected it, same thing...This blazer does not have the "passlock" type keys. does anyone have any ideas as to what the fix may be?...

You do have passlock keys, it just isn't the visible chip type key.
This is mostlikely caused by a faulty ignition switch which is a common problem with these trucks. It is a fairly easy fix, but does require disassembly of the steering column trim covers as well as disconnecting some air bag electrical connectors.
