Default ACDelco vs Delphi

Looking at distributer cap/rotor.

I am taking Captain's advice and getting a set of autolite wires, but which would be better for cap and rotor? ACDelco or Delphi?

AC Delco is or was GM owned. Delphi was GM, but was sold off. I expect there is little difference in the parts.

either one will work,as ive had no issues with either. Just make sure you stick with one with brass terminals.

Not certain about Delphi caps, (probably the same) but AC Delco caps have aluminum terminals, that's why silicone dielectric grease must be used when installing them. Aluminum conducts electricity better than brass, but aluminum oxidizes rather quickly. The grease reduces the oxidation process.
