Caliper bolts head broke off, looking for solutions
So yesterday I was trying to change the front brake pads in my '95 4WD Blazer, that had not been changed since I bought it from my father several years ago.
When trying to loose the caliper bolts of the the passenger side the bolts were tight but came out, but when tried to loose the driver side both caliper bolts lost the head, so I'm now stuck.
For a solution, I will try to cut the exposed part of the caliper bolts, but I'm not sure if it will help since the guide pin bushings will still keep the inner side of the caliper in position preventing me to get it out.
Also if the knuckle gets damaged for some reason, I would like to know if the '98+ knuckle with dual piston calipers are compatible, that way I could upgrade to dual pistons as well. I saw guides for upgrading it in 2WD versions but nothing about the 4WD. There are not many S10 in my country so the more alternatives the better.
