Do i need to tighten my torsion bars
i have a 98 4x4 LS blazer the front end is real bouncy like im driving a boat down the lake, is this due to my torsion bars or are my front shocks blown out? its not a hard bumpy ride like a mini truck bagged its like a boat just bouncing up and down so much it gets on my nerves

Take it to your local shop and have them look at the shocks, that will answer your question!

If when you hit a bump your truck keeps bouncing up and down then it is your shocks going bad. You could try pushing/jumping on your front bumper then stand back and if it bounces a few times your shocks are going bad. When the torsion bars wear out your front end will sit lower and lower.

Buy a new set of shocks. If still not happy then crank the torsion bars a little.

torsion bars will help the bounce a little bit im going through the same problem right now haha. cheep way to fix that back would be to put some spring tighteners/compressors. what ever they are.but best bet would be new shocks

Sounds like someone needs new shocks.
