Drivers window jumps side guides
Hey, Guys: Just replaced the window regulator and motor on the driver's door of my '03 S-10 Blazer. New regulator went in OK, and I thought I was ready to button it up, but when I run it down to the bottom, there is a "pop" and the window jumps out of the guides on each side of the window.
The regulator "wheels" went into the window track and the track on the door OK. Stuff looks OK, and it will go up and down OK, unless it's allowed to "bottom out." Any idea what I should look at?
Thanks!

Is the rubber "down stop" still in place? It's a small bracket bolted to the bottom of the door that the window bumps into when it reaches the full down position. It keeps the window from going down too far... and falling out of the guides

Hook: Yeah, it is, but it appears the window is tracking "outside" the farthest edge of the rubber bumper. I contacted 1A auto where I bought the regulator, and they are sending me another complete regulator assembly. Apparently they think something is wrong with the first one they sent. I'll give the new one a try when it gets here and check to make sure it lines up with the bumper stop. I'll be sure to report on my success/failure. Thanks for the post!
