Default Fuel tank pressure sensor 2000 Blazer 4Dr

I want to replace the fuel tank pressure sensor on my 2000 Blazer 4Dr but can't locate. Have checked gas tank but can't but am having difficulty seeing the top of the tank for possible location. A precise location to look would be a blessing.

This is not the fuel pressure sensor, it's a sensor that monitors fuel tank vacuum pressure

Fuel tank pressure sensor 2000 Blazer 4Dr-img_20130424_091619%5B1%5D.jpgHere's a pic of my 01 Blazer (had to pull the body). The big hole at the top is where the fuel pump was. The press sensor is the round plastic thingy just below it. RH side of pic is rear of vehicle. If you look at the bottom of this page there is a block titled "Similar threads". There are a couple of threads there that tell how to do it without pulling the tank.

HTH, Don

The Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor is located on top of the Fuel Pump Module. It has a three wire harness connected to it. (you can see the two connectors in Plasticfans' picture) the white plastic thing is part of the Vent System and possibly contains a rollover valve.

The four wire connector on the pump module is for the Fuel Pump and Sender, the other three wire connector is for the pressure sensor.

The Pressure sensor is clipped to the top of the module and can be replaced without removing module from tank, but you will probably have to lower the tank a couple inches or so to replace it.
